An ancient game originated in China between 3,000 and 4,000 years ago and played mainly in East Asia, Go (called Wei Ch'i in China and Baduk in Korea) has drawn increasing attention from other parts of the world due to its simple rule yet sophisticated philosophy behind. Today it is played by millions in Asia and thousands elsewhere.

In short, Go is a board game in which two people place black and white stones in turn on a 19x19 grid, whoever occupies more territory wins the game. Click here for an introduction of the game.
